Rawls Equipment Company was founded in 1985 in Memphis, Tennessee by the late Milton Rawls. Shortly after his service in the Air Force ended in 1954, Milton returned to Memphis and began working at Mechanical Equipment Company, an industrial refrigeration company run by his father, C.P. Rawls. Over the next 30 years, Milton gained the knowledge and experience necessary in the ammonia refrigeration industry for him to form his own company.
Milton, along with his wife Sherry and son Clay formed Rawls Equipment Company in 1985. With Sherry running the office, Milton and Clay started off with a handful of customers and the philosophy that we still use today – provide cost effective, professional solutions while exceeding customer’s expectations. This has enabled Rawls Equipment Company to become one of the most respected industrial refrigeration contractors in the Mid-South.
Under the guidance of Clay Rawls as President, today Rawls Equipment Company continues to satisfy the needs of our growing customer base using advanced technologies and industry proven methods.
